Florida's Parker Valby completed a distance double with her victory in the 5,000 meters in a collegiate record time, breaking her own our-right record (14:56.11 from indoors) and Katelyn Tuohy's outdoor record (15:03.12) with 14:52.18. on Saturday at the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field. The victory gave her a sweep of the NCAA championship events going back to the cross country season. She also won the 3,000/5,000 double at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
