A crowd of 9,903 at Historic Hayward Field witnessed Marquis Dendy leap to the 2014 NCAA long jump title Thursday, as the junior All-American became Florida's first-ever outdoor champion in the event. Dendy dominated from the start, but his season-best 8.00m/26-3 effort on his sixth and final attempt was the icing on the cake.
