Flomena Asekol, a senior at Florida representing Kenya, secured sixth place in the women's 6-kilometer final in 19:26.9 at the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships at the Panorama Farms Course in Virginia. Asekol earned All-America cross country honors for the third time, following a 29th-place effort in 2021 and a 14th-place performance last season, helping the Gators achieve a fifth-place finish as a team with 268 points.
