Anna Hall is in third place following four events in the women's heptathlon with a lifetime-best 3,991 points after the first day at the World Athletics Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field. Hall, who concluded competition with a personal-best 23.08 seconds in the 200 meters, surpassed the 3,922 points she accumulated June 10 on the opening day of the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field.
